Hotel Morales in Guadalajara absolutely exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The breakfast is out of this world, a true feast of traditional Mexican dishes, freshly made and bursting with flavor. Every morning felt like a cultural experience in itself. The hotel’s security team is incredible, always kind, professional, and attentive, making us feel completely safe throughout our stay. The entire staff goes above and beyond, ensuring every detail is perfect, from spotless rooms to helpful local recommendations. The property itself is gorgeous, with a charming historic feel and modern comfort blended seamlessly. The location is perfect for exploring the heart of Guadalajara, yet it’s peaceful and relaxing once you’re back inside. We will 100% be returning, in a heartbeat! If you’re visiting Guadalajara, don’t think twice. This place is a gem.

We stayed two nights in January 26. All great except there was no internet on our room. Connected but no internet. Reported twice not resolved. Breakfast was great as was he one dinner we had in the restaurant. All hotel staff was great.

The hotel is old but really good and well maintained. However very poor / weird lighting withing the hotel especially the lobby and surroundings. Some staff are courtesy and friendly whereas some are cold.

Everything about this hotel was perfect from start to finish. The restaurant and food were outstanding, and the breakfast buffet was absolutely amazing — fresh, varied, and delicious, with great quality and presentation. It was honestly one of the highlights of the stay. The service deserves special mention. The front desk team was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful at all times. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and were always happy to assist with anything we needed. The rooms were comfortable and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel is beautiful, elegant, and relaxing. The location is excellent as well, right in the heart of the historic area. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Guadalajara. An excellent experience all around.

The hotel is very beautiful! Staff is friendly and very helpful. We stayed in a standard room with 2 double beds on the 3rd floor. We stayed for 1 night in late October. Room was spacious and clean! Beds were comfortable- if a tad small if you’re sharing. AC is available in the room. Bathroom was nice! No fridge which was disappointing. Great location! Walkable distance to many shops, restaurants and the historic center. Overall I would recommend and stay here again! *I booked through Expedia and had no issues.*

I absolutely loved this hotel and I’m so glad we chose to stay here! The three men we met on the first day we checked in were extremely friendly and helpful at all times, making us feel very welcome. We felt completely safe throughout our stay and the room was excellent. I personally loved the high ceilings and the overall aesthetic of the place. It was a 10/10 experience, and I can’t wait to stay here again!

Three blocks from the cathedral, two blocks from La Chata for breakfast, and catty-corner to the plaza of the two temples. The hotel is set in two old buildings and you feel taken back in time into with it's patios in the middle. Modern bathrooms, and nice decor. The one negative issue is that their are no real windows in the rooms. However, this makes for minimal noise and great for oversleeping.

A fine 4 star hotel matching European standards. Rooms a bit tight for 3 people. Location just “on the corner” of less good neighborhood but only at late nights. “Do not turn left outside the hotel” became a phrase with us during a 4 night stay.
